Webroot Glitch with Eicar test string

Hello,

I originally posted this to the Security\Webroot Spice area and thought I had the problem solved. Not the case and what I describe below is still occurring.....so thought I'd try my luck here.

I wanted to run a few tests on how the Webroot email alerting system would work and so I created a text file that contained the Eicar test string. You can Google McAfee Eicar test and the get to the "How to use the Eicar test file..." to reference the actual string I used.


I copied that string to a Notepad doc, saved it to the desktop and opened it.Webroot detected the file as Malware, quarantined the file, ran a 2nd scan all clean and alerted via email. All good so I thought.
The next day though I was alerted again that the system I tested on encountered an threat and the threat reported was the same eicar.txt file.


And so now, I'm getting...
