I have a user's machine that has this and it is a big PITA. Roguekiller is the only thing that I've seen online that will touch it, but it seems ineffective on this one. There have been some variants already. Roguekiller finds the key and allows a deletion, but it comes back after a reboot. Otherwise, the only thing I find online is people telling what it is and what it does. The particularly nasty part is the way it hides itself in the registry with a non-ascii character that regedit (and probably most other registry tools) can't even see.
Thoughts? I'm probably just going to reinstall Windows this weekend since she only has a tiny bit of data to back up and no paid applications to deal with. I'd rather have a fix, but no one seems to have found one.
