I am in need of some help with configuring the Eset Personal firewall. My boss wants to be able to block the ability for users to download executable files. Here's the situation:
About 50% of our users are laptop users. While they are in the office they are protected by our firewall and of course our Endpoint Protection. We are looking for a way to protect these machines while they are out in the wild (At home, cafe wifi etc). One thing that we would like to block is the downloading of executable files. In the office the firewall appliance prohibits the downloading of files unless you are in a specific address range.
