So this week I've been taking on the task of migrating our site off Trend Micro WFBS, and I'm glad too, as the new solution has already found some active malware on our PC's.
Anywho, the WFBS console was less than useless in sending "uninstall" commands to our PC's they would disappear from the console and reappear minutes later. First I thought it was the GPO for deployment, but that's disabled so I still don't know what's up there. So I moved to the "control panel / change / remove" method, which has worked well except for three PC's. Each of them do not have a listing in the "Programs and Features" but are showing it in the "Add or Remove Programs" system setting, only the options to remove are locked.
I'll admit, I have not done the tedious manual removal, I'm trying to avoid that if possible. I only have access to two machines where...
