I work at a small retirement community and have been here about 7 months. Prior to hiring me the company had a resident that addressed IT issues, and they also used an outside MSP for larger issues, including network and server hardware. One area that particularly has me irritated is that we are paying $42 per workstation (times 61 workstations) for "monitoring and AV/malware protection". Our MSP uses Cylance, which I have had no issues with, but paying them $42 a month for AV/monitoring is a joke since I am here full time. I am looking for a solid, cost-effective AV/malware package and would appreciate any input. Thanks in advance!
