So we have recently bought into Bit-defender, and found it ok, have had some fun rolling it out, however, we are facing one problem almost daily if not more for some users.
Some machines have access to either USB or Webcams, and as such one of the factors for going with BitDefender was the so called ease of configuring local clients.
However easy the configuring is, it is constantly revoking any local access rights either daily or hourly in some cases.
For eg, we give PC1 access to USB and webcams then either from a reboot or bit defender update all exclusions have been wiped to the default policy. its almost as if the default policy is reconfiguring the client on each client update, which is bloody pointless to have the local configuration operation if this is so.
