It’s an awkward time for the US Department of Defense. Such a title leaves the average American most likely assuming that the latest and greatest technology is being used to protect their staff’s personal data. Imagine being employed by the PENTAGON and finding out your personal details are now at risk due to a data breach. The latest security beach affecting up to 30,000 military workers and civilian personnel occurred from a third-party vendor which provides travel management services to the Department of Defense.
