Windows Defender for Windows 10, Yea or Nay?

We are currently in the middle of a full migration to Windows 10.  Trying to cut our operating costs, my boss has asked me if it makes sense to ditch our Trend Micro subscription (which is costing us about 5K a year) in favor of the built in protection provided by Windows Defender.

To get a better idea or our network security, we use Google Apps (formerly Postini) for email filtering and archival, Barracuda with pretty strict settings for staff internet filtering, OpenDNS for guest wifi, and Cisco firewalls.  As it is right now, its pretty rare when someone gets malware on their computer, but it does occasionally happen.

What do you Spiceheads think?  Would Defender be good enough or should we be look elsewhere?
